Bilecha Corporate Services was founded back in 1999 by Huso Hadzic, Sole Proprietor. It was mainly for long distance telephone service to help people connect to their loved ones abroad for a very low cost. BCS was also under some Contractors one at a time – Startec, Call Select & ComWave. Due to the fast pace technology, there are so many options for people now to do it without paying a penny so the business ended in 2008. It was in the same year as well when I started helping my Brother-in-Law one year after he got badly injured at work. He and his wife were the ones handling the case but then Work Safe BC has been very tough on them so that’s when I decided to step up. I made myself his official representative and as the case progressed, it made me realize I can potentially help lots of people who have no nerves in dealing with WCB. Month later I helped out another one, a family friend. He had a very complicated case which made me research more about how the system works. I became so familiar and because of my accomplishments with those 2 cases (obviously I won both), word of mouth travels quickly. Before I knew it, I had 10 clients that I represent. It was never my intention to collect payments at first but then I spent so much hours and hours just by talking to Case Managers or even Directors, on top of that, there are so many submissions for appeals – 1st level of appeal is the Review Division and the 2nd level is the WCAT (which is the actual hearing that I attend in person with the worker). For years of working with WCB, I realized that they want the worker to be cut off from the benefits as quickly as possible even though the said worker is not well yet. From my own experience with my actual clients, 99% of the time they send workers to the rehabilitation not ideal or appropriate for the worker. It is my job to fight for you to get the right help.
